Infinity Loop business model

Infinity_loop_business_model

I put this on our old blog back in 2008 but thought I would highlight again my simple 'Infinity Loop' business model. The model envisages using  charity work, rather than the hugely wasteful competition system, to generate experimental projects. On a global scale this could result in a sustainable business model where financial inequality is rebalanced through targeted charity projects with commercial reasoning.

Current society appears to be based on the idea that philanthropy is something that is done once you are financially rich. This often leads to vast amounts of waste in the charitable sectors as money is given rather than earned. What if every company was encouraged to spend a percentage of their profits on charity work but could chose projects which commercially benefited the company? Would the results be greater than the current business/charity model? When Coca-Cola can reach places that vital medical supplies cannot you begin to wonder how that commercial power and intelligence could be better harnessed....
